Dr. Alexis Petri was recognized for Excellence in Research and Creative Works. An enthusiastic lifelong learner and tried and true Roo, Dr. Petri has three degrees from UMKC. Her founding and leadership of the new Office of Research Development provide support to the grant research process. Her genuine interest in her colleague's research allows her to apply her knowledge and her expertise in grant writing to fine-tune competitive proposals.
